Towards sustainable computing: analyzing and detecting software energy anomalies

The computer science laboratory of the University of Pau and Adour Countries (LIUPPA : Laboratoire Informatique de l'Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour), offers a funded 3-year PhD position designed for outstanding and motivated candidates, starting January 2023.
The goal of this thesis is to detect, through software traces, software energy anomalies, with an aim to reduce their impact. The project is within the scope of software energy efficiency.

Applications deadline : 11 December 2022.

Applicants will be selected and an audition is planned for select applicants in the week of 12th December. Auditions will be in person or in video conferencing.
