LIUPPA Research Teams

The Computer Science Laboratory of the University of Pau and Adour countries has four research teams.

Cyber-Physical Systems Architecture - ASCP

The objectives are to examine problems primarily related to:

  • The management of data semantics (primarily related to security and privacy) within the cyber-physical system.
  • The design of system architectures, and the control of exchanges between equipment.

This team's approach is holistic, in that it addresses different aspects of cyber-physical environments (ECPS) by relying in particular on several skills in the areas of: systems engineering for cyber-physical architectures, semantic integration and interoperability (integrating network and security dimensions) and autonomous management of cooperative and collaborative systems.

Software Engineering - GL

This team is interested in semi-formal specification and modeling languages (UML, SysML, BPMN, ...) for the design of quality software: maintainability, scalability... The massification of software through their change of scale (composition, entanglement...) and their new nature (cloud, big data, cyber-physical...) requires new design approaches addressed in this team.

Information Processing to Adapt Interaction to the Context and the User - T2I

This team focuses on the external and contextual elements of cyber-physical environments (ECPS). It designs, implements, and deploys generic, interactive, and adaptive applications. These applications process heterogeneous data from diverse business data sets and require the implementation of original representation models and access methods. The goal is to enhance information value and facilitate user interaction by providing the most relevant information and artifacts.

Information Engineering and Security through Knowledge Management - ISI-Know

The ISI-Know team develops innovative solutions combining artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced data analysis methods to strengthen the security of cyber-physical systems (CPS) and digital environments.

Green Transversal Team

The Green research axis is a project team that aims to unite researchers around Green IT within the LIUPPA laboratory, fostering a shared scientific framework.
The axis's objective is to create an environment for exchange, collaboration, and discussion on Green IT topics, while encouraging scientific innovation in this area.
The axis does not replace the laboratory's existing teams, but rather facilitates collaboration between researchers from different teams.
